Hadleigh entered the common room silently taking no notice to anyone or anything that may have already been there. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and an explosion of emotions she wasn't sure how to deal with. Her eyes held no shine or signs of laughter as they normally did.

Crossing the room slowly she grabbed her usual beanbag chair seeing as it was empty and tugged it across the room. She set it in the far corner against the wall right into of the large window looking out into the black lake. Sitting down she made herself as small as possible which wasn't to hard being as she was shortish anyhow, folding her legs up underneath herself. Leaning her head against the wall, her long hair falling in her face she stared blankly out the window before her.

Maybe she'd see something good today and it would take her mind off of other things.
