Today was beautiful outside, so Penelope had taken a break from studying to get some fresh air. Penelope was sitting near the edge of the courtyard drawing in her sketchbook. She was sketching one of the eagle statues on the fountain. Although she was usually inside for most of the day, it was nice to come outside. There were many days in the winter when the weather wasn't suitable for being outside for long times, so it was good to enjoy the sun while they had it. More features were being added to the eagle statue drawing. It was coming along well, and was starting to look quite a lot like the statue she was looking at. Unlike cats, statues were not constantly moving, so statues were easier to draw than cats.
