Blaise skillfully kept his eyes away from Liv, avoiding any and all disappointed looks he'd not too long ago gotten a glimpse of before she went and joined Rooney, because of course she did. They all did. Always. He was never wrong about anything even when he clearly was and that was fine he supposed. The Gryffindor glanced over at his table buddy, noting his obvious discomfort but he didn't suppose anyone else would care and it kinda annoyed him more because Daxton didn't talk, y'know? He'd never tell them how much he disliked the loud noises that were being made.

Aside from that,Blaise didn't offer an answer about the roses. They only had so many parts and it was quite possible his classmates had said them all. He would simply sit and wait for the promised activity, neutral expression still in place.
