There was something in Flamsteed's manner that both amused him and concerned him... but for the moment he was too absorbed in his own self-pity to really notice the man's flamboyance, nor the stack of books on his desk behind him.

Bad timing? He didn't much mind interrupting.

Career counselling though, was exactly what he was after, kind of. "Yes, please," he started, hopping off of the chair's arm and standing in front of the Professor proper. "Should I have made an appointment?" He might have, had he thought to do this ahead of time rather than on a whim. Well. Okay. It HAD been planned, but the time and day was open for opportunity, and it was NOW that he wanted to seize it.
