He was desperate to find out about their Quidditch experiences since school, but he'd allow a few more minutes to basque in conversation about himself first.
Oh, okay, no date. Shame. Theo almost choked on his coffee when the word 'mother' was used. Kat? A mother? So soon??! His eyes dropped to her stomach area before realising how rude that was, so he looked back at her face. "Seriously??" His deductions had told him that Gary probably was not the baby daddy, so Theo quickly racked his brains back to Hogwarts days to try and remember Kat's dating history but it had completely disappeared, obviously. Anyway, Kat kinda had dismissed the mother news... kinda... but confirmed the rest? "Who's the lucky fiance, then?" He grinned and had a sudden thought about marriage and babies.
He wondered what his Misses thought about those. He had never asked.
Anyway, grin was still in place as he looked towards Gary who was single. Fair enough, sometimes that was nicer.
....
AHEM. "Still playing the field, ayyyy mate?!" Theo gave him a light punch on the shoulder and a wink. A WINK? Possibly the most laddish thing Theodore had ever done/said. Quote:

The more Katrina denied that she's going to be a mother, the more he had a suspicion that this girl was actually pregnant. First, she denied caffeine and not to mention she did say something about healer appointment? HA! But Gary just pretended that he didn't know about that, ahem. So he just grinned playfully and finished his cup of coffee. "I guess you're still playing for the Wanderers, right?" The Canadian might now really follow Quidditch, but he knew that some of the former Snakes played on the league. Like him and West Odessa for Wanderers. Dylan Montmorency for Arrows and Sierra Greingoth for Harpies. Speaking of, it's kinda surprising why Hudson didn't choose to play professionally since she's a fantastic keeper.
Gary just slightly chuckled when Theo gave him a light punch on his shoulder. "Nope. I'm working as a photojournalist for muggle magazine." He had never have a desire to play Quidditch professionally since back in school, he was just in a team for one term as a reserved player. Well, it seemed like a very pleasant day for an unplanned get-together with her former Housemates. Kat sort of mused at the fact. All these familiar faces in one day. Well, two only... but it was more than Kat would've guessed.
Alright, so they were sticking to the surname. "Noted, Kinsley," the twenty five year old replied and then grinned at him. She didn't mind. IT was what they used to call each other back in the day, when they were still Hogwarts students and Quidditch wasn't banned there yet. It was such a sad reality to see what once brought students together be taken away. Kat always considered Quidditch as a very important part of her school days. Really sad, indeed. "Well, that's good to know. How's your team? Wanderers, am I right?" Kat rarely had time to watch leagues these days because of work, but she did try to keep up with the scores and standings as much as possible. Goodness, she did miss Quidditch.
Kat didn't notice the "looking at her stomach" thing because she was kiiiinda busy side-glaring Garrett. Please. What were these two Slytherin men doing? Merlin, they were so lucky they'd seen her at her worst during Quidditch practices and matches. For that, she didn't mind and was more comfortable with these two than with anybody else... sort of.
Lucky fiance? How flattering. "That would be our team mate Belrose," Kat replied and sipped again on her tea. Still warm, which was a good thing. Pretty sure everyone was aware that she and Cle had been dating since their sixth year. Now, she had a passing thought about them raising tiny Quidditch players in their own house. Cute. Ahem. "And how about you and Cassia?" Kat had heard about them, but she never really found the time to ask one of them personally about their relationship. She was taking her chance now.
Wait, wait. Photojournalist? Awesome stuff! "So you take pictures? That sounds interesting. What of, Garrett?" she asked. More sipping of her tea. So that meant he took great pictures? Muggle pictures, at least, so more of still art and not the moving photographs they had here in the Wizarding world.
