Going home also meant seeing her children whom she missed so much. Jack... she was starting to miss him. Him over Barry. The realisation stunned her. She missed Jack? He never wanted to see her face again and she missed him?
Rose could not think about this any longer because of the voice interrupting her. She looked up, not registering the woman in front of her due to the mixed emotions she was feeling. Then she noticed she had a baby bump too. "A few months,'' she replied as she rubbed her tummy again. "You?'' Oh good. The woman wasn't turning her anger towards Gabby. Obviously she wasn't AFRAID because there was nothing she feared... It was more that she didn't want to fight with someone who shared something in common with her and who might have advice for her. Well, so long as this wasn't her first child. Otherwise the whole endeavor would be rather pointless and a waste of her time. As it was she was going to hang around until she knew for sure if there was any point to things.
Not caring to ask if she could sit, Gabby took the chair opposite from the other woman's. "I am a few months too. I'm barely showing, but I'm excited." About everything besides being fat. "This is my first baby so we don't really know what we are getting into." That was why it was a good idea to read up on things and take classes though they hadn't gotten to that point yet - if they went at all. |
