When Hadley Denaker awoke in the morning, all the hurt and anger from last night's feast was gone. Why? Because, "I AM A TEENAGER!!!" She announced the fact, loudly, to her entire dorm while jumping up and down and dancing on her bed more like a common five year old than a teenager.
But never-the-less, Hadley was thirteen. OFFICIALLY. A. TEENAGER! And everyone in her dorm knew it now, but just in case. "I am a teenager!!" This time she punctuated it by springing over to Freckle Face's bed and jumping around the sleeping girl, then back to her bed, then to the bed next to hers on the opposite side of Rachel's, and then...
A crash stopped her in her tracks. Her snowboard had slipped from where it was perched against the wall due to all the shakings of Haddie leaping about, and crashed into Rachel's nightstand, knocking everything off. OOPS. She gave her BFF a sheepish shrug and repositioned the snowboard against the wall. It was gift from her Dad. She asked for a magical broom, got a snowboard instead. So, to spite the man, she brought it with and was gonna enchant it to fly and thus be the inventor of Wizard Surfing. Oh yeah.
Okay. She was done. Grabbing her two-way mirror and Asher, Hadley bounded out of her dorm room and down the steps to the common room.
