• Regardless of your character's health condition, all general rules and guidelines still apply.
  
  
• If your character is ill or injured and needs medical attention, you must first post in the Check-in Area for Patients. This thread is meant to be IC (in character) or OOC (out of character), so please utilize the thread even if your character is in serious condition. This way, I can be sure I don't miss anyone and everyone's character is properly healed and tended to.
  
  
• After you've checked in, you are free to post your character waiting to be seen in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors. Please remember that there is only one Healer on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other characters may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.
  
  
• No matter how serious you feel your character's injury may be, please continue to utilize the Check-in Area for Patients and the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors. Please do not bypass these threads and proceed to the other threads without your character being properly admitted first. Healer Murdoch will admit you to whichever bed she sees fit. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO POST IN THE BED AREAS UNTIL GIVEN THE GO AHEAD BY HEALER MURDOCH (unless we have talked and you have my ooc permission).
  
  
• In the event that Healer Murdoch decides you need further care/observation, you will be placed in the Quarantined Observation Area. If this happens, you could be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
  
  In rare cases your charrie may have to be transported to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Should this happen you will NOT be able to post anywhere in the school RPG until your charrie has been healed and allowed to return to school. At this point you will need to check back in here at the Check-in Area for Patients and be seen by the healer for her to check you over and admit you back into the school. Once this has been done then your RP rights will be restored to you.
  
  
• If after a period of three days, you have not posted in the healing area (bed) you have been assigned to, I will close your session and give the bed to someone else. This will of course be affected by how many people I have waiting for a bed, and will be completely at my discretion. You will NOT be notified of the change, because it is your responsibility to keep up with your bed. The hospital wing is often very busy, and by not posting, you are taking away time from someone else. If by chance you will be offline for a few days, and you wish to continue when you return, please send me a PM in advance and we can work it out between us.
  
  
• You may choose to have your character die from an illness or injury, but please keep in mind that making this choice does come with certain consequences. Members whose student characters become deceased are placed in the "Dead Student" user group and are removed from the school role playing game for the remainder of the term. Sometime after term ends, you will be changed back to your regular user group and will be able to post in the school as soon as the next term begins. While this change brings you back in the school role playing game, it won't, unfortunately, bring your deceased character back to life.
