This was it. The moment Kirk had been waiting for since his eleventh birthday. He was practically bursting in joy at the thought of having his own wand at last. On the outside though, he looked vaguely interested in everything that was going on. A trait inherited from his father Geffrey who was always as calm as a cucumber. Until he was free from his side however. Once he got a simple pat from his dad to go on, Kirk's eyes could brighten at last as he left the entrance into the room.

What was he going to get to do with the wand? Sure he had to try it out, but which spell? Or would he not be allowed to do a spell of his choice? Kirk could only pout at the lack of information his parents prepared him on. The most he got out was a simple smile and "You'll see." In that finality tone. Well, now was the moment as he saw a flying measuring tape come towards him.

First instinct was to flinch, but no. He wasn't going to do that. Instead he just froze with his eyes widened before the flying tape flew away from his face and around his torso, trying to slip under his arms. "Oh.." He raised them up so the tape could do it's thing. It kind of tickled as he fought the urge to giggle and twitch. The tape then stretched out to cover his height, circumference and everything before flying off again. Now what was next?
