After setting down the phone, Rosemary had stood frozen for a good minute or so. She knew the time had come. Her hands went protectively to her belly which now showed her baby bump. With a sigh, Rose moved to get Maddy. Her other children were out but little Maddy had a play date coming up. She figured she would drop her daughter off on her way to her mother's-in-law but once she had the girl in her arms, Rose changed her mind. She wanted Maddy with her so she locked the door to the house since Jack had left and gone somewhere. Where that was, she didn't know. They didn't communicate like they had before.

Rose was very nervous by the time she arrived Albert's and Linnea's. She raised a slightly trembling hand to ring the doorbell. She clenched a fist delicately as she waited. "It will be fine,'' she kept repeating to herself. It was a lie and she knew it but she couldn't stop herself from saying the words mentally. But she'll see Barry soon and he would make things alright.
