The Slytherin smile nodding her head. "And if you weren't it's not a big deal." Nothing would happen just because she didn't like the snake.

Nodding, Esme believed what Hady was telling her. She had already gotten the impression that Hagan was the Hufflepuff of cats. Would Sparkle get the same impression? Her eyes were glued to both fluff balls and as the cat made the first move, the little Pygmy Puff let out another SQUEAK before bouncing closer. "Looks like she likes him too." If she didn't mind him patting a paw at her.

No one had told her that she would fit in with Hufflepuff? Well, there was a first time for everything! "I'm like that too! I'm not what you would call AMBITIOUS, but I like to be independent. The only person I am okay with asking for help is my sister." The whole identical twin/best friend thing. "Oh, yes. We are identical though she's a little bit taller and we don't have the same fashion sense." So really it wouldn't be hard to tell them apart.

"Well, I'm sure he's lovely. I'm just not sure how I feel about reptiles," Esme admitted. Nothing wrong with being truthful. He DID seem like a nice snake though.
