For me, I’d want it to be more about the mythology related to astronomy” yep. She was going to sell it.
Wait…she didn’t know any astronomy yet. Telescopes were amazing? Well Ruby couldn’t fault the usefulness of one particularly during Astronomy lessons but if she was going to pick an inanimate object to have a conversation to herself about it certainly wouldn’t have been a telescope. She tilted her head curiously as she listened to the girl speak. “I live on the seventh floor, it isn’t very far for me to go.” Which was a relief when they sometimes had lessons late at night and Ruby would have been too tired to trudge the whole staircase like the poor other kids had to do. “But I suppose that is a sensible idea.” Unless the girl meant to create a club instead of going to lessons? Oh fiddlesticks she didn’t mean to encourage THAT.
The brunette looked puzzled as the girl continued to talk to herself only this time it was under her breath. She couldn’t help but feel like it was something derogatory about her and she suddenly felt self-conscious. “Oh I..” she stuttered as she was put on the spot. “Maybe. I’d definitely think about it.” She did enjoy the subject after all. “But don’t you think you should ask the Professor first?” He could help a lot more than the second-year could after all.
Ruby was still dubious as to whether that was the girls true motives for needing telescopes but she kept quiet about it on the premise of wanting to make friends at the school.
