So if James Draper's antics weren't enough, then certainly the antics of the poltergeists would. She didn't know whether to duck under the table, run away, or use some sort of magic to protect herself. Fortunately Miffy and Peeves never came her direction and she didn't need to decide. But of course, the damage was done in other places.
