Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Despite the way the rest of his family was, Oliver was not exactly the most social of butterflies. He endured the large holiday parties that his family sometimes hosted, even enjoying them at times. But he was rather familiar with them and for the most part preferred solitude.
Still, he had no issue coming to the gathering put on by the new Department Head. It might be nice to meet her and maybe even chat with some other Unspeakables. Even though he had been working in the Ever-Locked Room for several months, he didn't really know his fellow employees that well, other than job-related conversation and the little bit of small talk here and there. Perhaps many of them had introverted tendencies as well.
Stepping into the breakroom, Oliver paused at the doorway to note that there were many present already. Was he late? It wouldn't be unlike him to be so consumed with his present task to lose track of time, so it was quite possible. "Hello, everyone," he nodded to the small crowd before entering the room more fully. Now... where was the food, he wouldn't mind a bite to eat.
