Charlotte had spent the last hour or so with Davie, chattering and planning and MAKING SURE he knew that she was CLAIMING him for the train ride home because bestie reasons, and now it was time to show up at the feast and even sit at her own table!

It wasn't SO BAD being a Gryffindor really, mostly because all the other second years (and plenty first years!) were her friends and it meant she was never bored or lonely and actually she was PROBABLY the smartest out of ALL of them, since she was totally supposed to be a Ravenclaw and everything like that. It was better, she thought, to be the smartest of ALL THE GRYFFINDORS than just an average-brained Ravenclaw, which she probably would have been, she was happy to admit to herself (but not to anyone else).

"Hi you guys!" Char greeted, ALL enthusiasm and volume. Just to make sure her friends SAW HER and ACKNOWLEDGED her. Yup. Oh look, Olly was here TOO. Well she didn't blame him, it was much cooler here. She found a spot right in the thick of things, right amongst her fellow second years and beamed around.

Everyone was excited for summer right?

OH AND HER TIMING WAS AMAZING. SPEECH.

SPEECH.

Hurryupandfinishwiththespeeeeeech.

YAS. FOOD!

As soon as the food appeared, Char went ahead and loaded her plate up. No food fights this time, right guys?
