It meant a lot to the team." he said, releasing her and ruffled his hair.

"I...I'm sorry about not seeing your duels this term. Not that I forgot or anything, but I had to turn in some of our homeworks. I slacked at some point, so I had to make up for it. Gommenasai..." Jace held his hands together in front of him, and stared at it in shame. He really need to improve in the Friend Department, yeah? "But I've heard you won...I'm sure Professor Hirsch is glad to hear such accomplishment. Well done!"

Azura had to hold back a smile as she watched Jace blush.. Really it was adorable! She held her hands in her lap and had to bit down on her lower lip to keep from giggling. That probably wouldn't help out his blush... "You are welcome." She said as he thanked her in Japanese.. She made a mental note to study some of the language over the summer.. Just enough so she could say hi to him! Wouldn't that be a fun surprise? She smiled as he slid off the chair to join her and she pushed her hair behind her ears as he spoke. "She is good! You were too though." She said softly as she looked at him.

A wide smile covered her face as she heard his happy words.. "I know! I'm so excited as well!! I can't even believe we won! And after so long!" Azura was so happy, she herself had done well too and she was proud of all the points she had earned!

Her purple eyes went wide though as Jace leaned forward to give her a hug and she smiled and hugged him back. She still wasn't used to people actually initiating the hug.. Seeing as she was usually the one doing the hug! "OF course, I'll always be there to cheer for you..." Uh-oh.. "And the team." She added hurriedly as she mentally sighed.. She had been doing so well with her feelings..

She had thought!

A warm smile crossed Azura's face as Jace apologized for not seeing her duels this year.. "It's okay.. The first one was terrible, my magic wasn't working after... uhh.. potions." She said softly, "The second one and the third were pretty good though." Especially that second one.. where she broke her nose and then healed it! And still won!!

But if she was honest, she really wasn't expecting him to be there to watch them. After everything that went on.. Him actually showing up to watch her would have surprised her. Azura didn't exactly expect anything from her friends and yet she gave them all of her heart.. It was just how she was.

"Yes! I won, Haddie was a good opponent though! I was pretty worried there for awhile." She said with a warm smile.
