Esme's eyes widened as she heard a collision nearby.
What had that been???
It sounded as if someone had bumped into an obstacle. Either it was one of her fellow classmates trying to find somewhere to hide... or it was Professor Tanner. The latter was something that she didn't want as she needed to stay under cover for as long as possible. It was a good idea for her to move somewhere else just to be safe.
Quickly Esme her way further along while still being careful to stay in the fog. It was getting harder and harder for her to see but she began to slow her pace as soon as she felt safer. Gingerly she made sure that her footing was secure and her arms were placed held out in front of her so that she could feel any obstacles before they came into contact with her. The moving ones made her slightly nervous. |
