Yoongi watched Norah as she spun around to face him. That big grin on her face showed how much she loved plants and flowers. His own stomach did a little flip with joy at the sight of her smile. And her comment about loving them didn’t help either. She did have a point though. Everybody wants to be loved even the ones that don’t admit it. Comparing humans with flowers was a bit odd though but he said nothing about it. Actually, he hadn’t spoken much in fear he would say something stupid and blow the whole thing.

“Oh I’m excellent at talking” it was his turn to grin now. Though talking to flowers was a bit beyond him. He turned his head to look at one of the plants but kept quiet again. How did one even talk to plants? Seriously? He would only do it if she did because he somehow got the feeling she was joking with him. “Professor Myer plays music for them, so I guess music counts as well” he said and immediately regretted saying that because no one wanted to talk about professors. Unless Norah was in for saying bad things about Jerkface Draper? Hhhhmm? Probably not.

“Like these ones” he noted, nodding towards a plant whose leaves looked pretty dead. It definitely need a trim. He waved his wand and non-verbally let two pruning shears fly their way. They could use the charm but he was sure that Norah would like to take care of the plants with her own hands. He took both of the tools and handed one to Norah. He began to cut of the dead leaves of one of the plants, trying to remember how they had done that during class but his mind was somewhere else.

His mind was fighting. Ask her now, or ask her later. He knew that if he waited too long she would probably get bored right? Perhaps this was the moment? Or wasn’t it? Merlin’s Beard this is worse than exams! “N-NORAH!” Oh gosh he hadn’t meant to shout…and he had accidentally cut a good plant. He quickly shifted his body to shield it from the Hufflepuff’s eyes. “I actually want to ask you something” his gaze went from the plants to her and he took a deep breath. “I lied…”
