Janelle measured out her two tablespoons of Lacewing flies and put them in her mortar. Then switching to her teaspoon, she filled it with honey. She poured that into the mortar as well. "OK, two tablespoons of lacewing flies and one teaspoon of honey", she said to herself. "Got it." Firing up her wand, she said, "Aguamenti". She only needed one teaspoon of water so the spell was quick. "Finite", Janelle said, ending the spell when the spoon was full.

Now that she had her last ingredient, Janelle added it to the other two. Then it was crushing time. Janelle picked up her pestle and had at it. She mashed and crushed the ingredients together, mixing them into a single mass. When she finally had the desired paste, she was done. Janelle scraped the paste into her potion and breathed a little sigh of relief. Then she cleaned all of her dirty equipment while she waited for further instructions.
