Oh. Yeah. The hag for starters. Brady was a mess right now. Just a complete and utter mess. He was still feeling like the hag was watching him. The Scottish boy knew that he was first on her list of children she was going to eat when she comes back. That thought just made matters worse.
As Brady was lost in his own thoughts he jumps a little in the air when he had heard someone say his name. He say the boy sit next to him. "No." The first year said shaking his head.
Oops, it looked like he had startled the boy. Carl was about to apologize when he heard the reply. It made him furrow his brows - what had made him wake up yelling in the middle of the night? Couldn't be just a nightmare. He stayed silent, thinking.
Then, he remembered the Hag and what she had done to his dorm mate. If he was tossed into a cauldron, about to be eaten, he would have been frightened to death. That must be it.
He placed a consoling hand on Brady's shoulder. "Do you want to talk about it? Is it ... because of the Hag?" Heck, he was so bad at this trying-to-make-his-friend-feel-better thing.
