Okay so... the revelation that they weren't going to be feeding the potion to their pets put Jaemin a lot more at ease. The small boy let out a relieved sigh and patted the top of the cage quietly, looking up at the professor curiously. They were making a potion to understand their pets? So they could read their pets thoughts, or... would it be like, understanding the squeaks and noises and body language and stuff?
The small boy dutifully jumped off his seat and headed up to get the ingredients, eyes never leaving Art as he collected each thing. He needed to ask... but he had to get his potion started first. He very carefully carried his things back to his workstation and set them down, making sure to keep them far enough from Sniffler that he wouldn't be able to reach them. He didn't have long limbs, but he was a sneaky little guy...
First thing was six cups of water. Jaemin felt around for his wand and held it up, dutifully casting 'aguamenti' to start filling the cauldron up. He hummed happily to himself as he did so, much more content to be here now that he knew Sniffler's life wasn't going to be in danger. |
