Okay, so now that he had swirled the dirt and stuff around a bit, it looked like very watery mud. Jaemin tilted the beaker to look at it a little closer, humming to himself softly; now it was time for him to do the spell, which... he had never done before. He wrinkled his nose, taking out his wand, and looked at all the other students. He could hear them casting the spell, and it seemed to be working for them, so... he could make it work too.
"Cibus Revelio..." he repeated the spell several times to make sure he was saying it correctly before pointing his wand at the beaker. "Okay dirt... tell me what's wrong with you. Cibus Revelio!"
For a long moment, the soil seemed undecided as to what it was going to do. It just stayed brown and dirt-coloured. But then... Jaemin tilted his head and looked at it pointedly, watching as the tint slowly grew brighter and brighter until it was a very obvious blue. Which meant he had to plant one of the hybrid trees, yes? He got to plant his tree!
The diminutive Slytherin left his beaker and stuff where it was to mark his spot, popped up to his feet, and took off to where the trees were, excitedly looking from pot to pot to find the one labeled with his name from earlier in the term. He wanted to plant his special tree first! |
