He'd silently hoped she wasn't mad at him for putting her up against someone who was older than her and, therefore, had more experience. It was a learning curve, wasn't it? A lot could be learnt from both parties while still ensuring that the duel wasn't too unfair.

It was like watching one of your favourite remakes of a movie spiral out of control and all you can do is watch. That was it. Getting upset wouldn't do anything to solve the issue and yet, here he was. The man took out his wand and hurried over towards the pair, just in time for Kitty to stand up on her own. Merlin! Didn't her knee hurt?!
"Miss Valentine?" he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder, "Are you hurt? Do you need to go to the Hospital Wing?" Because there was no chance that he was going to let her continue the duel given the condition she was in.
