It was not her day, for obvious reasons.

Taking a long and calming breath, Nana knew she had two choices. She could sit near the shoot and call out for help in the hopes that someone would hear her or she could walk further into the passage and make an attempt to find an exit. She glanced up from whence she'd fell, but there was no light, not even a speck and Nana suspected that whatever set of trapdoor that had been... it was not shut up. Hogwarts. It was times like this that the woman almost despised the school. almost. "Lumos." Nana said, lighting her wand and casting the light out before her.

With a sigh of exasperation, the witch made her way as carefully as she could in her high heels amidst the rocks, water and gravel (it was no easy task, but thankfully she was a pro). It was so quiet down here... Except... Were those footsteps she heard? Steeling herself, the witch stood back anxiously in wait for whatever-might-be to come into her wand light.

A curse lay heavy on her tongue. C'mon beastie.
The purpose of his away mission was top secret and the only thing that the astronut was lamenting at the moment was that he had neglected to bring down with him his nameless red shirt figure. You know, should trouble actually brew down here in the Chamber and then he could sacrifice that one for the greater good. As it was...he was going to have to choose between Spock and Pebbles and...well...that was not a choice he would like to make. Rather like picking a favorite tie.

Although he KNEW which tie HAD been his favorite and it HAD been STOLEN from his office many years ago. He had not put up missing posters in regards to that tie for a while now, come to think of it. Perhaps he should do that again soon...or perhaps it was a lost cause now.

Or...perhaps THAT was the away mission's ultimate goal.

Hogwarts may never know for the Astronomy professor's mind worked in mysterious ways.

Moving about, Airey continued his comical movements - quite reminiscent of those witnessed on some of the earlier episodes of the original Star Trek - through the darkness all the while whispering inaudible things to his away team and unbeknownst moving closer to his concealed colleague.
