Now matter how far he walked, he could always find the door to the Locked Room. It came around eventually.

He had already passed his door, but that was fine with Oliver as he kept going. He was a little early for work anyway and he wanted a little time to think. He'd come across his door again soon enough.

It had been little over a year since Adam had reorganized and taken inventory of the supply closet. Which also meant he had been with the MoM for little over a year. It was an odd thought to Adam. He never had been one to stay put for too long. Perhaps his gypsying days were finally over. In fact, he’d even gone as far as to make plans. Next weekend he was going to the sea with Hazel and her wives and baby, and today, well today he planned on re-inventorying the supply closet. He’d tried to keep track of things in there, but some of his fellow potioners and unspeakables just didn’t care enough to mark down when they took supplies. He’d spent about a week working in that closet, coming home every day with dust and spider webs in his hair and by golly, he was going to keep it well organized if it killed him.

He’d come in early in an attempt to get a head start on the closet and his paperwork and was carrying a thermos of strong tea and a tin of biscuits to help him through the morning. He yawned as he turned a corner and found himself face-to-face with another worker. “Guten Morgen,” he said in German automatically as he tried to smile. He shouldn’t have stayed up so late last night working on that paper.
