Eeek! Was Ava okay? That sting hadn't hurt too much right? Definitely was a good spell to use though! Char had apparently found her newest attacking spell! Though she would have to try others out and practice them like crazy of course. But this wasn't the time to overthink! She bounced from foot to foot, getting more and more amped up and beginning to dance around a bit, keeping herself moving despite the occasional sneezes that still managed to slip out (and to think, she hadn't even been hit with a sneezing hex! Did those even still work if you were sneezing already?).

Char was DETERMINED to prove herself in this duel and... wait what was that? Ava had cast SOMETHING but Char didn't hear what it was. She didn't NEED to hear it in order to block it though and since her countering was working just fine as a strategy and giving her a chance to keep her friend and housemate on her toes, Charlotte defended again, wand coming up as she cried out, "Protego!" YEAH KEEP THEM COMING, AVA! The flash of whatever-that-spell-was rebounded back with a sound like a rubber ball bouncing off a window, and the little blonde, still bouncing from foot to foot, sliced her wand back again determinedly, yelling the incantation for the jelly-fingers curse and sending it towards Ava's wand hand.

Phew! Hopefully Char wouldn't exhaust herself before she could PROVE HERSELF. RAAAAH! She was certainly giving it all she had!
