Noelle could see the strain on the professors face. She could almost tell what he was thinking because she had heard whispers about it already.she would keep her head down low though because she had learned her mouth would get her in trouble if she said what she was thinking.

Instead, more notes were being taken. Noelle steadily wrote down the animals that people were name. Some she knew and some she didn't. The giant squid, merpeople, yes she had heard all of them. But there were some that weren't familiar with her.

As for herself, Noelle tried thinking about lake animals but as soon as she had thought of one, others were blurting it out. Her head stayed down and watched her parchment then. She wondered where this lesson was going, because she surely wasn't one who wanted to go diving to see animals if that was the case.
