The end was near... or so he'd hoped, cause like, finishing was nice.

By this stage he and Janelle seemed to be working like a well-oiled machine, each of them working their way along as they searched for the blasted piece of parchment. Couldn't they just summon it or something?

Sigh.

"No, nothing yet," he called back over his shoulder, her questions answering his own before he had a chance to ask. She wasn't having any luck either.

Pausing and turning to his partner, Zeke shrugged. "I dunno, the swamp maybe?" or like... around? At this stage still had some options. "Come on, I recon it's worth a look," and if it wasn't then she could push him into it. Yep.
