Post 5 (of brewing) and good antidote Lil' gooz | Sarangel | Junior Dweeb Uhhhh. Did that say heat? Or heart? Or hurt? If she had to hurt a cauldron she was so out of here okay, hurting was not an option. Norah squinted at the blackboard some more. As if the blurriness of her vision weren't enough, all the steam from everybody ELSE'S antidotes was doing a very good job of making the writing on the board essentially illegible. It seemed all those years of avoiding reading were coming back to haunt her, 'cause she just could not tell what she was supposed to do next.
Maybe she could.....take another rest......y'know....just for a second. Until her vision got normal again so she could keep brewing. Yes. That seemed like a grand idea. The prefect slumped onto the chair again and pulled her knees up to her chest just like she had before. Yes, yes this was good. nice and peaceful, right. Just gonna shut her eyes for a little bit and pretend everything wasn't aching.
Her eyes flew open and she groaned loudly at the sound of SOMETHING awfully disruptive and not conducive to good rest. WHY was Professor Newton YELLING? Not cool, Professor. First he made her drink something that made the pounding in her head unbearable and then he YELLED too? Professor Culloden never would've done that. She'd bet anything. It wasn't very nice to compare professors but she really didn't feel like being nice anymore, she felt like lying down on the floor and never getting up again. Norah let out another groan and tried to sit up just as somebody handed something to her, which she nearly dropped. But she didn't. So there. What? She eyed the contents of the vial. The itchiness of her throat was convincing enough for her to down the potion in one long swallow, not paying any attention to what Professor Newton was saying now. Cleaning up her station would have to wait. For now regaining the ability to function needed to be a priority.
