Jace’s vision swirled as Professor Art started to walk around the classroom. He was afraid to let go of the man’s leg because with his fogged mind, he could see the older man wading through ankle deep waters with fat rats swimming in it. The Ravenclaw must’ve had his nails dig deep into the man’s skin as he moved about the room checking on everyone, and as he retrieved his back-up antidote in his storeroom.
The first year gagged as the man walked, making his vision sway and swirl at the same time. “Professor...please...” Jace whimpered, almost begging the man to vanish the swimming rats on the floor. Goodness, this is torture.
Through his clouded vision, Jace released himself from the man’s leg, accepted the clear vessel with two hands, and downed the real antidote in one go. At that point, real cure or not, Jace didn’t mind. He didn’t bother to examine or think about the liquid being handed to him because he was that desperate. The moment he finished drinking the liquid, he felt the whirlwind motion of being pulled back to normalcy. Jace found himself on the floor in the most undignified situation, and slowly got up to his feet with the aid of a nearby chair. The small boy looked from the wet, puke-stained floor, to his very wet trousers and shirt, and then to the rest of the class. “Oh.” Was all that he can say. His right hand subconsciously reached up to the side of his head, and tried to steady the throbbing nerve on his temple. “What...how...?” he said tilting his head to the side, trying to recollect his thoughts. He did remember his hallucinations...the shouting...and a confession.
He stood there idly, slowly remembering the things that happened. He can...surprisingly...remember everything. If the poison was stronger, then there was a huge percentile that he wouldn't remember anything. With a mild poison however, he was rendered impaled in terms of lack of control with his thoughts, imagination...and mouth. As memories started to organize in his brain, his brown eyes fell on Azura...and his face turned scarlet. It’s not because he’s mad, or shocked...it’s just that...in general, he’s really not good at accepting compliments. Those were words of compliments, right?
Jace turned...and went back to his workstation, and was very disgusted to see his workstation in such condition. His notes...his precious notes were now soaked in water and vomit combined, black ink bleeding and mixing with the liquid mess. His brown eyes suddenly shifted from the mess to his partner. “Elsa! Elsa are you alright? Come on, you have to drink this antidote quickly.” He said picking up her cup with both hands and gave it to her. Did she need help drinking it or what?
