The two minutes were up and Hady carefully filled a cup with the antidote before gently pressing it into Brookly's hand. "There you go," she whispered quietly hoping it worked quickly. Every single step was followed exactly so there shouldn't be a problem. Therefore her partner would feel better really soon and they could continue on.
Watching her fellow snake drink from the cup Hady held her breath willing it to work. Honestly she didn't want to be the reason her friend was still poisoned. Not a good way to keep friends at all! Please work...pleeeaaassssse work!
Getting to her feet she made her way to the front of the room along Brooklyn frowning slightly to herself that so far it didn't appear that the girl was feeling better. It was hard to tell since she wasn't complaining but she just didn't look like herself and Hady knew something was still off about this. Maybe it took a few minutes to kick in? She sure hoped so.
Collecting the small cup of the diluted down poison for herself Hady turned and went back to their work station. Sitting down her eyes traveled to the cup as she swirled the liquid around inside tipping the cup back and forth. Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly she raised the cup to her lips and drank quickly before she could change her mind about it. The stuff was gross and the quick look on her face were she may have wrinkled her nose a little was the proof of that.
Glancing around the room at everyone she let her eyes roam to her partner briefly before looking away, covering her mouth as she yawned. Sleepiness she could cope with. Maybe she would get lucky and nothing more would happen.
