Onto the next step, Standard Ingredient. She wasn't overly thrilled about using pre-made.....she was a bit of an ingredients snob at times....but really it would work just fine. "So Carl, What do you think of Hogwarts so far? You're a first year right?" She asked absently as she began to measure out the Standard Ingredient. With each of her scoops, she ensured perfection by tapping the side of her measuring unit. It made the powders and such settle so that she got a more accurate scoop. Once it was perfectly level, she delicately sprinkled it into her pretty copper cauldron. Scoop number two and there we were.
Next part should be adding some liquid. Taking her separate liquid measuring scoop she used "Aguamenti" and carefully filled it. The more pure your ingredients, the more effective your potions her aunt always said. There was number one. "Aguamenti" here came number two. Ilia gently and slowly poured the water over the other ingredients so that nothing splashed and it began to sort of mix on its own. |
