Mason looked up from her letter and into the green eyes of a shy looking Gryffindor. Gonna have to be nice to the poor girl

Mason gave her a warm smile and pointed towards where the School-Owls resided. "Um, yeah! They're right over there." Mason stood up from where she sat and dusted of her robes before extending her hand to the girl, "I'm Mason. First year."

She gave the girl another smile and titled her head at her, "What've you got there in your robes? A love letter, perchance?" She asked and waggled her eyebrows suggestively. "Don't worry, I won't judge."

She took the girl by the arm and led her towards the School-Owls, "Behold, the most beautiful array of birds to ever be seen," she said sarcastically, "You can choose whatever one you want for that letter of yours."

Hopefully the girl wasn't as shy now that she saw what a clown Mason could be.
