Final question Fluttery Pegasi Haddie giggled to herself as the clay lioness playfully attacked the finger that was petting it. Class was over though. "Sit," she commanded. The lioness immediately obeyed and there was a tinge in her heart. She didn't want to see her clay familiar go back to being clay.
Once she'd packed her things and stood up, Haddie held out her hand. "Climb on," she told the lioness. It obeyed instantly. "Thank you Professor," Haddie said, but she didn't head for the door. "Professor? How can we make the spell permanent? I mean, portraits last ages, right? And I bet the tape measure has been at Ollivander's for a long time. So it's possible to cast the spell so it won't wear off, right?" If not, she was sure with help of one of the Professors she could learn how to tweak the spell work used on portraits and on La Rue, the measuring tape to create a lasting insentient familiar. If one thing can be animated to such and extent, than other things could too.
