Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Once again, Blaise began his work the moment the Professor began his explanation. The boy found it helped with the exercise when he could follow as closely as possible in real time, just in case. It minimized errors, which worked GREAT for him considering he'd gotten a pat to the head and would hate for the Professor to suddenly regret it.
HEAD PATS DIDN'T HAPPEN OFTEN, OKAY??
The young Gryffindor took the Mahogany baby!tree into his hand, sizing it up to decide where he would make the cut. However he did it, the boy had to make sure it fit onto the other piece like a puzzle which meant....just...about....HERE!
Blaise tilted the plant ever so slightly just so he could get a better look then as best he could, he cut it at a 45 degree angle. That looked about right. To be sure, he placed it against the other baby tree he'd cut and swelled with pride at how snuggly it fit.
This was grounds for another head pat if you asked him but he wouldn't push it. Nah. Just a little praise. Nothing special except it was 'cause he never ever ever got it in his other classes outside Muggle Studies.
The flap the Professor was talking about was very familiar--had to be, he'd only made another one maybe 5 minutes ago. Just as before, he cut straight back then held it out to take an objective look at it.
This would do nicely.
