Right after being released from the Hospital Wing Kitty made her way to the Owlery. She had to write to her mother about the Hag. Tomorrow the whole terrible episode would probably be in the Daily Prophet, and Kitty wanted to tell her first. She hurried around the corner into the Owlery, almost bumping into other students in the process.

But after the first two sentences, she got writers block. It could have been an easy to write, but Kitty didn't know how to phrase certain things. She couldn't decide yet whether she wanted to describe in full detail the already traumatic event, or downplay it. Her fear was that her mother get worried and pull her out of school - away from all her friends and enroll her in a different school. That would be terrible. But Kitty loved telling stories, and this was a true story that she had been involved in.
