Slowly Esme felt herself calm down again, though she knew that she would have to be careful or she might start feeling this way again. Best to try and not think of what the hag had done because otherwise she felt so upset. Juno should be safe if she avoided Hogsmeade. That thought made her feel better because it meant that nothing bad would happen and the old bat was wrong.
Smiling at the thought, she began to sculpt the clay.
It took a little while for her to work out what she wanted to create, but she had eventually settled on a Unicorn. Badgers were nice because they represented her house, but she wanted to do something a little different. Something less cliche.
Carefully she began forming the head while making sure to leave a nice horn for the creature because otherwise it would be a plain horse - nothing wrong with that, but they weren't magical. Once that was done, she moved on to shaping the animal's torso and tail making sure not to make the body chubby because she had never seen a fat unicorn in her life. Lastly, she created four legs.
It might not have been anything spectacular, but she was pleased with her work regardless. It would do. |
