Post 2 Fluttery Pegasi Haddie was fine again. No more tears threatening to fall, but the whole thing had left her rather somber. Why was blood so bad and dark? It would have been so much easier to just draw blood and move on.
She knew just what she was going to make. Her favorite animal. A lioness. First she rolled the clay out, making it into the lioness' body. She spent a good 10 minutes on the head alone. Once she got it where she was happy with it, Haddie moved on, making legs that looked somewhat the way the should, but were at least all the same length so it stood perfectly. Lastly, the tail. Oddly the tail was the most difficult. It broke 3 times before she finally got it molded and posed right.
Making the little clay lioness was a good distraction and the results, which were actually better than she expected cheered her up. It was actually identifiable as a lioness! Yay Haddie. She admired it for a moment before looking up at the Professor. "What's next?" That's right, Haddie was back to her regular self.
