Jaemin hadn't realised his mistake with the word until Professor Myers pointed it out by doing the same; at that point, his little face went bright red, and a rather horrified look entered his eyes. He was a Herbologist, how could he not pronounce the words correctly?! His father would be ashamed! (Not really.) The small boy deflated just the slightest bit and he gently petted his Honey Locust tree some more. It really did have very nice leaves, it was a shame it would have to part with them.
The activity beginning, however, had Jaemin immediately brightening again. REDEMPTION TIME! He nudged the mahogany tree back a bit, out of the way, and looked at Julia. "I'm gonna use the knife to do it. Do you wanna too?"
How comfortable was Julia with using spells like that? He wasn't really sure. He just knew that he felt a way about it, as he was inexperienced with magic still and he didn't want to destroy this precious little tree. |
