Landing on one before flying to land on another, and another scratching and peeking their heads.
She looked at the headmistress with a grin formed on her face again, "I will be going somewhere, but it won't be with you." She cackled and pointed towards the headmistress. Her bird swooping at the woman scratching and peeking to distract as the hag turned and looked at the male professor. Snapping her fingers to freeze him in his spot she took off towards the forest. Going behind a few trees and disappearing for good.
He’s got a bad feeling about this. Jace could hear warning bells go off inside his head as soon as the hag added some ingredient in her pot. The Ravenclaw was quick enough to cover his mouth and ears with his blue scarf. It was enough to make him dizzy, but it helped him stay conscious and AWARE of what was going on.
Everything happened so fast to be honest, and Jace was simply planted in his spot, obviously shocked at what he witnessed. He was sure that the hag placed the boy inside the pot of boiling water herself, and not the Hufflepuff simply falling in because of curiosity. It was a clash of logic really. If the hag was to accuse someone falling in, she should’ve picked someone from Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Jace looked around when people started acting confused and dazed. This made him wrap the scarf tighter around his nose and mouth, and slowly inched away from where the hag was. What made him stand up was the sight of snakes...and students sprouting things out of their heads.
Merlin, help them.
As he got his bag from the ground, his hand brushed on someone else’s arm (
Katherine) as he picked his things, and automatically dragged this person away from the smoke. He’d rather help just one than no one at all, right?
“Come on, get up! Let’s get out of here!”
The smoke was a bit too thick for Jace to see where his friends are, but it was easier to spot Moxley and Draper since their outlines were bigger than the rest of them. A bit dizzy, he carefully scuttled towards the
Headmistress, still dragging another student with him, and pulled on her sleeve.
“She’s lying professor. The boy didn’t jump into the pot. She placed him there!” It was kind of hard to talk with his scarf wrapped snugly around his nose and mouth. Next time, he should learn how to cast a Bubble Head Charm on himself.
And...NO! What is that crazy
bird doing!?!?!
It was mauling the headmistress! NO NO NO!!! Frustrated by the lies, and outraged by being fooled that they were going to
learn things today, Jace quickly drew his wand from his chest holster, and fiercely immobilised the bloody black bird.
“STUPEFY!!!”
Thank Merlin for oh-so-basic stunning spells. Did he get the bird though?
