Kitty's senses returned to her as the professors blew away the smoke with their wands. The Hufflepuff boy was saved, and now they were going to arrest the Hag. Kitty felt relief flowing through her as the most terrifying experience in her life so far ended.

Then the Hag's bird started attacking, just as the Hag made her escape. GAA!!! The bird was picking at her and Haddie's heads, and she couldn't even close her eyes. GAA!!! If the teachers were busy, then surely one of the other could hit the bird from them, right???
