He couldn't still recall all that happened that night, but he knew it was bad and what Basil went through might have been worse. Hopefully this guy wouldn't allow that sort of thing to happen again.
Sticking out his hand he gave an actual smile, [b] "Hello sir, good to finally meet you." Did he have a minute, he looked back out the window as if he had somewhere to go, but truthfully the ministry had no good stories and he had no good leads on anything else at the moment. "Sure I have a minute, are you needing some help with something?"
First impression: Good. Jorge was meeting Erik's high expectations. Granted, he had only spoken to the man for...one minute and thirteen seconds, but he knew to call Erik
sir. He would get credit for those manners.
Erik shook Jorge's hand firmly and then let him go, moving his hand to rest casually in his trousers' pocket.
"I am, yes." How to put this request into words...
"I am vishing to host a meeting for our staff, to talk about recent staffing changes, but many are out of vhe office throughout vhe entire day." Jorge knew this. Jorge might even know their schedules.
"Can you help me gather everyone into vhe conference room to go over things soon? I can send out an official memo. I am simply...lost as to vhat time would be best."
Please advise, Jorge. Look at how polite, professional, and handsomely dressed Erik Vinteren was. Surely a man of nearly-equal stature would help, even if only to continue to impress his new boss.
