She didn't hear Yoongi come up beside her, nor did she notice that he was there. But the way which he spoke into the silent-throbbing of the pendulum motion was so simple that it didn't startle her. In fact, it didn't even warrant a glance towards him. Mostly because she almost had the next rune and if she just stared long and hard enough she was likely to get it!

Visual acknowledgements would have to wait.

Verbal ones, however, didn't demand that much attention.

"Isn't that the point of pendulums? To be hypnotic?" She was pretty sure it was. Except this pendulum was different. A pendulum didn't need runes to be hypnotizing and as far as she knew no one in Hogwarts had fallen victim to such a thing yet. Her eyes narrowed.

Almost. There.

"I'm trying to figure out what it says." In case he wanted to know, which apparently he did. Otherwise he wouldn't be standing right there.
