Ariadne looked up at Scarlett and laughed. "Well, I guess I didn't really mean that it almost KILLED me," she said. "It just swayed one of its branches in my direction, so I had to duck." That was probably the least exciting answer Ariadne could have given her, but that was how the story went. "I was just sitting here watching it. I've always heard all kinds of stories about it, so I kind of wanted to see it for myself." She was glad she did, too, because there were a ton of people here! She had gotten kind of bored in the common room by herself.

She nodded in reply to Scarlett's next question. "Of course I know all about it! This tree's a legend! We were actually just talking about it before you walked up," she said. Her eyes widened and she added, "You had a PAINT WAR? Even after the food fight? No way! We got grilled about that food fight at our party." Ariadne STILL hadn't talked to Healer Murdoch either! She made a mental note to do that. "Are you making tons of friends? I'm trying to! That's one of the reasons I'm out of here. It got SUPER boring just sitting in the common room. Nobody else was in there, so I guess they're all out here having fun."
