Melbourne was listening intently to everything Professor Draper was saying. Her eyes were practically twinkling with delight. “Of course that makes complete sense!” She beamed at him and bounced a bit where she stood.
“I’m going to work on that over summer break” she nodded, “…though I think my sister wont let me bring him until fifth year” she frowned slightly but really, that was what sisters did. For now maybe she could just bring her sister’s pet rock with her…or get a pygmy puff or something slightly more dangerous than a pygmy puff.
Standing for a moment she just smiled. “Of course I wouldn’t let them eat each other!” She was practically laughing and bouncing on her feet. “Thank you Professor – oh…do you know of any good books on training creatures?” She asked happily ready for more advanced things….”also, if you need help cleaning stalls and things for class I was thinking of getting some skills down so I could work as a pet-sitter over breaks” she nodded, “I would even walk Merlin for you if he’d allow it” she offered giving Merlin a little wave. Yes. Dogs were great.
