Ariadne watched a fourth group member, another Hufflepuff, join them. She was overflowing with hufflepuffs now! That didn't bother her, though. They were supposedly really friendly people. Too bad she couldn't say hello to the fourth group member. The professor started class just then and clearly told everybody to stop talking. They did get a little grin from her, though.



Ariadne listened to all the portrait stories that other people had to share. She didn't have any really cool ones, thought, which kind of bummed her out. Davie had a really awesome story to tell! He had blindfolded portraits in the Headmaster's office? COOL! Charlotte had a funny story to tell, too! Ariadne would make games out of those portraits, too! It sounded like loads of fun! She wished she had some interesting story to tell the class, but she honestly didn't. She should really get out more. Either that, or her family needed a lot more portraits around the house.

She raised her hand. "My daddy used to be the Minister of Magic here in Great Britain, and he had some portraits of former Ministers in his office. Whenever I would visit him, I always tried to be perfectly quiet and still when I was in that office. There were just SO MANY Ministers looking at you at one time!" she explained. Ariadne had NEVER been perfectly quiet and still, though. She hadn't been sure if it had been her imagination or what, but all those Ministers always seemed to be eyeing her at the exact same time. Intimidating!
