Luckily Olly was only twelve. Which meant he was not very tall. Which meant his bag did not fall too far to the ground. Which meant only his Astronomy book slid out. It was easy enough to stuff it back in and grab both of his blankets. Those stayed in his arms though, because they were too big to fit in his bag.

Um, what? Olly stood up and started at the girl. "What's your problem?" Not the most mature response, but it was all he could think. "I don't even know you!" Wait, now that he actually got a good look at her, he did recognize her. He didn't really mean to, but he smiled.

"Are you mad because I kept stealing those balls from you? In case you forgot, it was a competition. I was trying to win." Not that it had worked, but anyway. There were no friends in competitions.
