It wasn't ALL magic ALL the time and last year had proven to the now Second Year that one could protect themselves even without the use of magic. He would need to learn more if he planned to accomplish this.

Blaise walked into the room, paying little attention to the fact they had mats in place of desks and chairs. In truth, it would be something of a problem if he needed to duck but that was what tall, older students were for. Like Dima who was sitting near Norah.

Well, choice was clear enough and that's where Blaise planted his butt, right between the two of them--because Norah smelled nice and she was so wonderful and offered him chocolates and was pretty, okay yes. Dima might make a good shield and they had a year on Yearbook together so he sorta kinda knew him which meant this was okay.

Oh nametag. Nothing could make him miss his quick quotes quill more. It usually had such wonderful titles to give him when he let it fill these out for him. The boy would have to do it himself.
