Instead of paying attention she'd been watching Zeke a little absently. He was definitely a lot more interesting to look at than the professor was.
All of a sudden the professor appeared to be done talking and Maggie was so ready to leave. Like, lol, no she had done enough Alohomora-ing for the whole week probably. No need. So she quickly put her things back into her bag, holstered her wand and accepted Zeke's hand when getting up. "Yes." She leaned up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Bye, Professor." She even wiggled her fingers at him and offered him a grin on the way out.
Now. They had some time before lunch. He wasn't entirely sure why Maggie bothered unpacking in the first place, but it didn't stall their departure too much, so she was forgiven. Lacing their fingers together he beamed at her smile, pushing her chair under her desk for her as they moved out of their row toward the door.
"Have a good day, Professor," he farewelled with a head-nod, because this Gryffindor was going to have a GREAT day. Mmhmm.
