You know what was interesting? This kid....... well, this boy mentioned wanting more things on the dark arts instead. It made the man curious and frankly, he was going to take a moment to munch on his apple. Yep, munch and give the boy a sidelong look. "Are you interested in the dark arts or a way to defend them?" Pick your answer wisely, kid. Though he was right about one thing: no one wanted to know about gnomes and doxies when they could be learning about the weird and twisted.

Roderik knew what he would rather teach, that was for sure.

Oh, a smile! Wasn't that nice? "Hey! C'mon, there's better seating in my office. And you can tell me all about the dark arts you want to learn about," he said, getting up and heading over to the office to unlock it. You know, if the boy wanted to talk to him rather than sitting in a seating area all day.
